He was born into a family of musicians in Donetsk, Ukraine. At the age of seven, Artyom started studying at a special music school for gifted children. He gave his first concert at the age of eight. From 2006 till 2009 he continued his studies at the Prokofiev Music Academy in the class of Professor Albina Orishchuk. He graduated with honours. He also studied composition under Professor Alexander Rudiansky.
In 2010 Artyom moved to Germany, where he received his MA at the University of the Arts in Bremen in the class of Professor Patrick O'Byrne. He completed his post-graduate studies and began to teach piano and chamber music at the same institution. During his studies he received support from the Keyboard Charitable Trust, VERE MUSIC FUND, Clavarte Foundation, Deutsche Stiftung Musikleben, Hans and Stefan Bernbeck-Stiftung and other foundations.
During his studies Artyom has won prizes at many important international competitions such as the Sydney International Piano Competition (Australia), Gina Bachauer International Artist Competition (USA); Top of the World Piano Competition (Norway); Sendai International Music Competition (Japan), where he also won the Audience Award; Gian Battista Viotti Competition (Italy); Vladimir Horowitz Young Pianists Competition (Ukraine); Theodor Leschetizky Competition; Steinway-Förderpreis (Germany).
In 2015 Artyom was a finalist in the Honens Piano Competition (Canada) and won the gold medal as well as the Audience Award in the World Piano Competition (USA).
He has given concerts in Germany and many other European countries, in the USA, Canada, Japan, Cyprus, Australia and South Korea. During his studies he has attended master-classes given by Dmitri Bashkirov, Paul Badura-Skoda, Mikhail Voskresensky, Yakov Kasman, and festivals such as the Honens Festival in Calgary; Kyiv Music Nights; Piano Music Rarities, Husum, Germany; Bremen Music Festival; Paderewski Festival in Raleigh, North Carolina; Hamburg Polish Music Festival, Gina Bachauer Festival in Salt Lake City, USA and other festivals in Germany, Italy, Austria.
He has performed at such venues as Weill Concert Hall in Carnegie Hall, Warsaw Philharmonic, Die Glocke in Bremen, Leißzhalle in Hamburg, Konzerthaus Berlin, Jack Singer Hall in Calgary and the National Philharmonic in Ukraine.
Artiom Jasinski has performed with the Cincinnati Symphony Orchestra (USA); Utah Symphony (USA); Calgary Philharmonic Orchestra (Canada); Koszalin Philharmonic Orchestra (Poland); Sendai Philharmonic Orchestra (Japan); National Symphony Orchestra of Ukraine.
In May 2015 he released his first CD on the Naxos Grand Piano Label with works by Polish composer and pianist Jozef Hofmann. This disc earned him positive reviews from publications such as Gramophone, American Record Guide, Fanfair, Diapason, Radio Bremen. His second disc of 18 sonatas by Domenico Scarlatti was released in 2018 on Naxos Label.
Since April 2015 Artiom is an assistant professor in the special piano department at the University of Arts Bremen.
