Anatolii Pavlovych Tkachuk (born 24 August 1950) is a Ukrainian composer and conductor.
He was born in Vinnytsia region. He graduated from the trumpet class of the V. Kosenko Kyiv Music School, then from the Glière Music School, class of Professor M. Berdiev.
From 1968 to 1973, he served in the military orchestra of the Kyiv Higher Artillery Engineering School. In 1978, he graduated from the Military Conducting Faculty of the Moscow Conservatory and was sent to the GRVN contingent, where he achieved significant success as a conductor of the orchestra of the 41st Berlin Motorised Rifle Regiment stationed in Gardelegen.
Since 1983, he has been the head of the orchestra of the Chernihiv Higher Aviation School. On the basis of the orchestra, he created a powerful "Big Band", which later became a laureate of the "Estrada-90" festival and took first place among the orchestras of the Kyiv Military District.
Since 1988, he has been a lecturer at the L. Revutsky Music School, conducting, instrumentation and score reading classes. In 1995, he founded the local symphony orchestra and became its chief conductor.
He is the artistic director of the Philharmonic Wind Orchestra and the chief conductor of the Taras Shevchenko Academic Ukrainian Music and Drama Theatre in Chernihiv.
