Shumeiko Volodymyr Viktorovych is a Ukrainian composer. Member of the National Union of Composers of Ukraine.
He was born on 21 January 1949 in the village of Hleiavattsi, Dnipro region. He graduated from the Faculty of Composition of the Kyiv Conservatory (1973, class of M. Skoryk). He taught at the Rivne branch of the Kyiv Institute of Culture, and was the editor of the Musical Ukraine publishing house. Currently, he teaches foreign language at school #12 in Irpin.
