Olga Mykytenko is a famous Ukrainian and German singer, soloist of the National Opera of Ukraine (1995-2006). Honoured Artist of Ukraine (1999).
Biography.
In 1989-1992, she studied at the Zhytomyr Music College, Faculty of Choral Conducting. From 1990 to 1992, she was an actress and singer at the Zhytomyr Drama and Comedy Theatre.
In 1992-1997, she studied at the Tchaikovsky National Music Academy of Ukraine in Kyiv (class of Professor H. Sukhorukova).
Works in various fields: opera, chamber and symphonic music, jazz, cinema. He is constantly expanding his dramatic and lyrical repertoire.
Since 2001, she has been singing on the most prestigious stages of the world, in particular, in Europe and America (in particular, at the Bavarian Opera, Deutsche Oper, Metropolitan Opera, Teatre Liceo in Barcelona, Dresden Opera and other stages of the world).
In 2017, Olha Mykytenko released a philosophical novel, Solo OM, which is based on her biography. The book was also released in English and German and is available for free online sale.
In 2020, the singer released a new disc "I Vespri Verdiani" - Verdi Arias with the Bournemouth Symphony Orchestra under the direction of Kyrylo Karabets.
