Oleksandr Tyshchenko was born on March 2, 1986 in Okhotsk, Khabarovsk Territory (RF). In 1995, he and his family moved to Bakhmach (Chernihiv region, Ukraine), and in 1999 to Kyiv.

In 2003, Oleksandr Zlotnyk invited Alex to one of the main roles (Voice of the South Seas) in the first Ukrainian multi-budget musical "Equator" - the "forge" of modern Ukrainian show business (the main cast sang Svitlana Loboda, Tina Karol, Vasyl Bondarchuk, Vasyl Lazarovych) .
Alex Luna signs the first professional contract with the production center Catapult music in 2007. As a result of the cooperation, in December 2008, the debut album "Light of Luna" is released. The album included classics sung by Alex (music theme from the movie "Breakfast at Tiffany's", "Ave Maria", etc.), as well as compositions that no one had heard before. The album "Svet luny" did not find wide distribution in Ukraine because it stood out too much in terms of its style and content from the general mass of works of Ukrainian artists. But he was successful in Germany, Norway and Switzerland.
The presentation of the album and the third video clip took place in the Column Hall of the Kyiv City Hall. The debut music video for the song "Light of the Moon", which gave the title to the album, was created by director Angel Gracia, who at one time worked with such world stars as Madonna and "Enigma".
The legendary composer, the founder of Italian disco, Claudio Simonetti, was interested in Alex Luna's unique voice. For a long time, the maestro was looking for a performer whose voice would be combined with the unusual mystery of the musical style in which Simonetti works. And when the composer heard the singing of the young Ukrainian performer Alex Luna, the maestro came to Kyiv to meet the singer personally.
In 2007-2010, Alex Luna participated in gala concerts dedicated to the end of the Second World War, a joint tour with prima ballerina of the Bolshoi Theater Anastasia Volochkova (2010), a performance at the Ovation award ceremony (2008) and performance at the Leipzig Opera Ball (2011)
Since 2009, Alex Luna has been working with Tuaron Management under the leadership of Anton Sova. As a result of the trial period, he signed a new professional contract. Thanks to the Tuaron Management team under the leadership of Anton Sova, he became a full-fledged participant in international show business, presented in all countries of the world, his work became large-scale and successfully merged into new trends music
In 2009, Alex Luna received the Dnieper Region Man of the Year award. Possessing a good appearance, Alex Luna appeared more than once on the covers of magazines ("10 дней", "Whats'on", "Gallery", "Beauty and business", "Jewelry business"), took part in photo shoots ("Elle Ukraine" , "L'Officiel Ukrain", "Story", etc.), appeared on the catwalk at UFW and was the face of the Lugaru Fashion House.
Alex Luna's performance with a children's ensemble at the opening of the main Christmas tree of Ukraine became traditional.
The pseudonym Alex Luna was invented by the director Angel Gracia during the filming of the clip "Light of the Moon" for two reasons: to avoid confusion with pop singer Oleksandr Tyshchenko of the 90s, the performer of the song "Prima Ballerina"; this nickname is more in line with the image and style of the artist.
Currently, Alex Luna mostly lives and works in Germany.

I'm for you!" the "Bantyk.party" party was held in the capital nightclub Disco Radio Hall with the participation of stars of Ukrainian show business, including Alex Luna, and a charity auction. The event was organized in support of the boarding school in the village of Babanka (Uman district, Cherkasy region), where 112 children with mental disabilities live and study.

Clips
2007 - Moonlight, English version: Moonligh (director - Angel Gracia)
Alex's debut clip became a sensational video work for Ukraine. The idea was proposed by Angel Gracia, a director known for his videos for Paris Hilton, Enigma, and Madonna. It was based on the plot of the romantic fiction novel by Edgar Poe - "The Mask of the Redof death". Angel showed in the clip how the prince, surrounded by a chic mail, refuses to play silly games, pathetic spectacles in his castle. He confidently moves from one room to another to stop the play. But in the end, he discovers that he is one of the characters of the carnival.
2008 — Night, English version: Night (director — Yevhen Timokhin)
Evgeny Timokhin proposed an unusual solution: to shade the emotional coloring of the text with computer graphics. Namely, with needles that stitched the performer with red threads. At the end of the musical story, the singer's eyes are closed and his mouth is sewn with these red threads. This act has a deep philosophical meaning.
2008 - Hands to Heaven (director - Oleksiy Fedosov).
The presentation of the clip coincided with the presentation of the album "Svet luny". Alex is the author of the music and text of this composition, in addition, he himself chose the location for filming the clip and developed his style and image of the main character. She became IT-girl Mariam Reyentenko.
