Roman Viktorovych Koliada (6 April 1976, Kyiv) is a Ukrainian improvisational pianist, journalist, and deacon.
Roman Koliada was born on 6 April 1976 in an educated family in the village of Korzhi, Baryshiv district, Kyiv region.

Roman Kolyada is the great-great-grandson of the Ukrainian writer Petro Kolesnyk.

Since 2009, he has been working on the radio.

Education.
He studied at Korzhi school, then at Baryshiv school.
1992-1997 - Tchaikovsky National Music Academy, Faculty of History and Theory.
Creativity.
Author of the music for the play "Venus and Others" (2007 - Kyiv Poetry Theatre "Mushlya" under the direction of Serhiy Arkhypchuk).
Author of the idea, music and performer of the piano, keyboard and video projector (author's system for controlling the change of slides) in the audiovisual performance "The Right to the Moment" (shows took place in Kyiv and Kharkiv).
Co-author and participant of art performances at the Foundation for the Promotion of the Arts:
music + plastic, with Alesia Alisievich (Belarus);
music + poetry, with Yevhen Nyshchuk, Olesia Mamchych, Oleh Korotash, Yuliia Berezhko-Kaminska, Vitalii Ivashchenko and others;
music + painting with Leonid Hopanchuk;
musical portrait (improvisations on the theme of feelings from the person sitting opposite).
Solo concerts (2001-2011): in the House of Scientists, the Actor's House, the Foundation for the Promotion of the Arts (Kyiv), the Solomiya Krushelnytska Museum (Lviv), the Museum of Western and Eastern Arts (Odesa), the Yuri Gagarin Planetarium (Kharkiv), the Museum of Grudziądz (Poland).
He has been a member of the ethno-rock foundation TaRuta since 2014, with which he started working in 2013 as the TaRuta feat. Roman Kolyada.
Roman Kolyada is a member and co-founder of the KoKo Melange project.

Church service
Roman Kolyada was ordained a deacon by Patriarch Filaret in 2010.

Diploma winner of the International Music Festival "Orpheus" (2005 - Bilhorod-Dnistrovskyi);
Chevalier of the Order of Nestor the Chronicler, 3rd degree;
Chevalier of the Order of St. Prince Volodymyr the Equal-to-the-Apostles;
Laureate of the Ivan Franko Prize (as a member of the creative team of the 20 Moments of Independence programme, National Television Company of Ukraine).
