Ukrainian choral conductor, composer and teacher, 1993 - Honored Artist of Ukraine.
Biography
In 1972 he graduated from the Rivne Music College, in 1976 from the Kyiv Institute of Culture, and in 1985 from the Lviv Conservatory.
Member of the National All-Ukrainian Music Union.
Professor of Rivne Humanitarian University.
He worked as a conductor and choirmaster of the Cherkasy and Chernihiv State Folk Choirs.
As a conductor-choirmaster, together with Anatolii Pashkevych, he created the Volyn State Folk Choir.
Since 1987, he has been the organizer and artistic director of the Zorya Song and Dance Ensemble.
He is a brilliant organizer, original composer and arranger. His work was highly appreciated by the Hero of Ukraine Anatoliy Avdiyevsky, People's Artist of Ukraine Ivan Slyota and other famous artists.
He has composed more than 50 original works and more than 100 arrangements of folk songs, which are in the repertoire of folk choirs, ensembles and individual performers.

"He performed in a duet at the 2011 Chervona Kalyna Festival in Zhobryn, Rivne region, with Mykola Syvyi, the chief physician of the Chervona Kalyna sanatorium, and Natalia Farina, who also performed the songs.
In 2015, the Mykola Datsyk Festival of Vocal and Choral Art "We have as many songs as in that field of ears..." was launched.

The book "We Are Datsyk's Circle" about the life and work of the famous composer, author of contemporary Ukrainian songs, organizer, artistic director and chief conductor of the State Song and Dance Ensemble "Zorya", teacher, professor of the Institute of Arts of Rivne State Humanitarian University: Composer, Teacher, Conductor" (Rivne, 2014), illustrated with photographs and memoirs of friends, colleagues, artists, and allowing to better feel the unique aura of communication between creative personalities, to comprehend and appreciate the achievements of the Rivne artist, a native of Mlyniv district, in the all-Ukrainian artistic field.
A set of CDs "From the repertoire of the vocal and choreographic ensemble "Zorya" was released.
