Musician and composer, one of the founders and artistic director of the Vyzhnytsia Musicians folk instruments orchestra in Vyzhnytsia, Chernivtsi region.
Biography
Born on March 23, 1957 in the village of Stari Kuty, Kosiv district, Ivano-Frankivsk region. He graduated from the Yuriy Fedkovych Vizhnytsia High School.
In 1976, he graduated from the Chernivtsi Music College, majoring in accordion, studying at the same course as People's Artist of Ukraine Pavlo Dvorsky.
In 1990 he graduated from Yuriy Fedkovych Chernivtsi State University.
In 2000, he published a collection of songs "Cheremosh Sparkling Music" (notes, 2000, Vyzhnytsia), which includes a song with lyrics by Lina Kostenko and music by the author of the collection "There is a whole company of obelisks here".
As the artistic director of the orchestra, he has won many national and international competitions. He actively participates as a composer and jury member in music competitions, including the art project "Poetic Bridge of Vyzhnytsia", educating young people and students of Bukovyna in the best traditions of Ukrainian musical art.
She is the author of music for many songs such as "O land, my native land", "Song about Vyzhnytsia" with lyrics by Svitlana Yarema, "Pass" with lyrics by Yuriy Petrychuk, "Where you and I are" with lyrics by Volodymyr Melnykov, and others.
