Zubtsov Evgeny Nikitovich

1920-1986

Yevhen Mykytovych Zubtsov (June 11, 1920, Yenakiyevo, Yekaterinoslav Province, Ukrainian SSR - May 1, 1986, Kyiv, Ukrainian SSR, USSR) was a Ukrainian composer. Honored Artist of the Ukrainian SSR (1979). He was awarded medals.
He graduated from the composition faculty of the Kyiv Conservatory (1954, class of M. Vilinsky).

He led pop orchestras (1945-1959).

Since 1960 he has been working as a composer.

He was a member of the National Union of Composers of Ukraine.
