Ukrainian composer. People's Artist of Ukraine (1996). Laureate of the I. Slatin Prize (1995) and the B. Liatoshynsky Prize (1997). Professor (1989). Member of the National Union of Composers of Ukraine.
Graduated from the Kharkiv Conservatory (1963, class of D. Klebanov). Since 1963 he has been teaching at the Kharkiv Institute of Culture, Kharkiv Institute of Arts, etc.
