Mykhailo Zolotukha (23 December 1957, Semyhyniv) is a performer, composer, lyricist, and producer.
He was born on 23 December 1957 in the village of Semyhyniv, Stryi district. As a young boy, he showed his love for music, making guitars, flutes, and cymbals. He received his first music lessons from a talented village trumpet player Y. Burak. He graduated from Semyhynivka Secondary School and Stryi Music School. During his military service, he improved his skills. He began to write songs. He worked as the head of the pop orchestra of the Morshyn Palace of Culture, the village head of Zhulyna village. Now he is a teacher at the Stryi Children's Music School.
Artistic achievements
The vocal and instrumental ensemble "Hoverla", created by him, became a good school for the growth of many young pop singers. The creative work of the composer and performer Mykhailo Zolotukha includes a large number of pop and choral songs that are distinguished by their melody, lyrical mood, and folk rhythmic melody. His songs are not noisy, without false pathos, melodic, soft and gentle, and this is the author's great skill - to put his musical thoughts in a folk manner, but without betraying his own compositional style.
