Zhuravitsky Vadim Mikhailovich

1962

Vadym Zhuravytskyi (December 3, 1962, Kyiv) is a Ukrainian composer and teacher. Laureate of the Revutsky Republican Prize (1998), International Competition of Works for Wind Instruments in Rivne (1997). Member of the NUKU (1990). Graduated from the Kyiv Conservatory (composition class of Y. Ishchenko, 1986) and completed his assistantship at the Conservatory (1995). Since 1986 he has been a UWC reference officer, since 1989 - a teacher at the Kyiv Children's Music School No. 3; since 1993 - at the Department of Composition of the Kyiv Conservatory (NMAU). Since 2007 he has been working in Germany (Stuttgart).
