Oleksandr Hryhorovych Yurov - Ukrainian composer and poet, guitarist, scientist, ex-diplomat (counselor of the first class), public figure.

Biography
He received his musical education in the music studio of the Children's Music School No. 5 in Kyiv majoring in accordion and in the Sonata Music Center Music College (Cairo, Egypt) majoring in classical guitar. He studied at the National Technical University of Ukraine "Kyiv Polytechnic Institute named after Ihor Sikorskyi", Kyiv National Economic University named after Vadym Hetman, Institute of Foreign Service of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of India (New Delhi, India).

Oleksandr Yurov is a former charge d'affaires of Ukraine in Latvia and Egypt, the only Ukrainian diplomat who sang abroad in an opera for the public - he opened a solemn concert at the Cairo Opera House with the performance of the "Kyiv March "Kyiv with Love" Egypt of the 20th anniversary of the Independence of Ukraine.
Oleksandr Yurov – educator and scientist, corresponding member of the Academy of Technological Sciences of Ukraine, head of the All-Ukrainian Club of Honorary Ambassadors of CERN Science in Ukraine, recognized by the public as an honorary ambassador of educators of unconquered cities of Ukraine; an active public figure - a member of the Kyiv City Association of the All-Ukrainian Society "Prosvita" named after Taras Shevchenko, a member of the movement of Ukrainians abroad and volunteers supporting resistance to racist invaders; the author of the artistic patriotic project "Inexhaustible Your Well, Ukraine" for the support of the Defense Forces of Ukraine and the preservation and popularization of the historical memory, language and culture of Ukraine in the world, as well as the co-initiator of the International artistic project under the auspices of the "Musical World of Ukraine" called "To Victory we are driven by love!".
Awards and honors
1983 - awarding of the First Prize of the Ukrainian Republican Council of NTT and the Central Committee of LKSM of Ukraine to young scientists, specialists and the best for the best developments in the field of science and technology in 1983. 1994 – elected a corresponding member of the Academy of Technological Sciences of Ukraine.
2001 – assignment of the diplomatic rank of Ukraine "Counselor of the First Class". 2008 – awarded with an Honorary Diploma by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Ukraine. 2008 – Awarded with an Honorary Certificate by the Ministry of Integration of the Republic of Latvia.
2011 – third place award at the All-Ukrainian contest of modern patriotic song and march of the Ministry of Defense of Ukraine. 2013 – awarded with the badge of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Ukraine. 2016 - the winner of the All-Ukrainian Internet competition of Radio Rocks Ukraine for the title "Rock Entertainer" (live recording - https://youtu.be/yJPljRk4-w0).
2023 – recognition by the Presidium of the National Academy of Sciences of Ukraine
