Yasinsky Marceliy Antonovych

Marcelius Antonovych Jasiński (Polish: Marceli Jasiński; pseudonym Joseph Doroshenko; b. 1837 - d. December 1867, Kyiv) was a Ukrainian and Polish composer, conductor, and music critic.

Biography.
He was born in 1837. He studied at Kyiv University and in 1857-1859 at the Prague Conservatory. In the 1850s and 1860s, he conducted symphony concerts and performed as a choral conductor. From 1865, he was a candidate and then a member of the directorate of the Russian Musical Society, and a correspondent for the Kyiv Telegraph newspaper.

He died in Kyiv in December 1867.

Ballets "Mr Tvardovsky", "The Shadow", "Sleepwalker";
"Dumka" - for violin and piano, piano pieces (dumky, shumky, Cossacks, polkas, mazurkas), solo songs.
