Biography.
He received his secondary education at the Kharkiv Secondary Specialized Music School in 1980. In 1985, he graduated from the Kharkiv Institute of Arts named after I. Kotlyarevsky, and in 1991 - from the Kyiv Conservatory, specializing in conducting. Director of the Kharkiv Regional Philharmonic. Orchestra: Academic Symphony Orchestra of the Kharkiv Regional Philharmonic, conductor.
Yuriy Yanko's work is characterized by a performing culture, knowledge of musical styles and national schools. Clear and precise gestures, emotionality, artistry, and exactingness in working with the orchestra.
Political activity
On September 27, 2010, he joined the Party of Regions. Member of the Kharkiv Regional Council.
