Vlodek Flor Todosovic

1879-1930

Flor Todosovych Vlodek (born 1879 - around 1930) was a Ukrainian singer (tenor) and dramatic actor.

Biography.
He studied at the St. Petersburg Conservatory. Around 1901, he settled in Kyiv. He sang in Mykola Lysenko's choir, performed as a soloist in concerts by Mykola Lysenko and Kyrylo Stetsenko's choir, and played in performances by Mykhailo Starytskyi's troupe. In Soviet times, he worked as a singing teacher at several schools.

Vlodek's repertoire included chamber music pieces by Mykola Lysenko, including "Will We Ever Get Back Together Again" and the duet "When Two People Part", which he performed with Viktor Kurdynovskyi. He also sang Ukrainian folk songs.
