Vitalii V. Vitkovskyi (* 15 March 1926, Kharkiv) is a conductor. Honoured Artist of Ukraine (1995). Participant of the 2nd World War. Graduated from the Kyiv Conservatory (class of M. Kanerstein, 1958). 1958-81 - conductor of orchestras in theatres of Ukraine and Belarus. 1981-95 - Chief Conductor of the Sumy M. Shchepkin Theatre, 1995-2002 - Kryvyi Rih Drama and Musical Comedy Theatre. In 2002, he moved to Germany. He conducted musical performances: "The Merry Widow" by F. Leger, "The Bat" by J. Strauss, "Maritza", "Silva" by I. Kalman, "The Three Musketeers" by M. Dunayevsky, etc.
