Ukrainian musician, composer
Biography.
In 1980, he graduated from the Kamianets-Podilskyi District Children's Music School, class of percussion instruments, and in 1984 - from the Chernivtsi Music College.
In 1986-1988, he was an artist of the Ternopil Regional Philharmonic as a member of the rock band Album. In 1988, he worked at the Volodymyr Kyselov Leningrad Music Center, in 1991-1992 - in the band Zahrava (Kolomyia), in 1992-1997 - in the band Braty Bluzu.
He is a laureate of many festivals. As a composer, he became a diploma winner at the Song-97 festival for the song "Mannequenshchytsia" performed by Ani Lorak.
In May-October 1997, he worked as an arranger in the studio of Oleksandr Ponomaryov. Since October 1997, he has been a musician of the Klas-A production agency as a member of Oleksandr Ponomaryov's band.
Later he worked in the United States. Together with Oleg Levitsky of the Blues Brothers, he played for a long time at the Hermitage Club (New York). In 2003, in an interview with the Svoboda newspaper, he said:
"Drumming has been parallel to my life since the very beginning, since I was a child, I started beating on everything I could get my hands on - plates, pots, spoons. My father is a musician, and I was with him wherever he played. My eyes have always been fixed only on the percussion instruments, and I wanted to take everything from them. My drums are like my beloved wife to me.
In 2010, the members of the Blues Brothers got together again to perform in several Ukrainian cities, including Ternopil.
