Ukrainian singer (tenor), conductor, arranger, public figure. Winner of the Bohdan and Levko Lepkyi Brothers All-Ukrainian Literary and Art Prize (2009). Honored Artist of Ukraine (2016).
Biography.
Bohdan Khavarivskyi presents the Lepkyi Brothers Prize to Volodymyr Vermynskyi (5.12.2009).
He studied at the Solomiya Krushelnytska Ternopil Music College, graduated from the Conducting and Choral Faculty of the Ivan Kotliarevsky Kharkiv Institute of Arts (specialty: choir conductor, teacher of musical disciplines).
Winner of national and international song competitions and festivals, including: "Boromlia" (Sumy, 1999), "Song Vernissage" (Kyiv, 2000), "Chervona Ruta" (Kyiv, 2002), "On the Waves of Svityaz" (Lutsk, 2003), gold and bronze medals at the World Championship in Performing Arts in Los Angeles (2003, USA).
In 1991-1992 - artistic director and conductor of the amateur choir in the village of Velykyi Hlybochok, Ternopil district. In 1992-1999 - soloist of the Association of Variety Artists of Ukraine (Kyiv).
In Ternopil: in 1999-2007 - artistic director of the concert and entertainment center "Popular", since 2006 - organizer and artistic director of the band "Accent". 2001-2007 - co-organizer and artistic director of the All-Ukrainian Festival of Popular Music "Meetings of Friends" (Ternopil).
Tours in Ukraine, Moldova, Europe, Canada, and the USA.
Collaborates with composers and songwriters Anatolii Zhytkevych, Bohdan Melnychuk, Leonid Popernatskyi, Oleksandr Smyk, Anatolii Figliuk and others.
