Vasyanovych Mykola Maksymovych (* 17 February 1940, Meleni village, Korosten district, Zhytomyr region) is a conductor and composer. Honoured Artist of Ukraine (1996).
Biography.
Graduated from the Kharkiv Institute of Culture (1971), Lviv Conservatory (1980; class of conducting of I. Nebozhynskyi).
He worked at the Department of Culture, the School of Culture, and the Music School (all in Zhytomyr, 1965-83). 1983-89 - conductor of the Zhytomyr Music and Drama Theatre named after I. Kocherha; since 1989 - artistic director, since 1992 - artistic director and conductor of the Zhytomyr Philharmonic.
One of the founders and director of the S. Richter Charitable Foundation (since 2003).
