Oleksandr Yakovych Vaisfeld (* 10 January 1919, Sataniv, now a town in the Horodok district of Khmelnytskyi region - † 2000, Lviv) was a Ukrainian violinist and music teacher.
Oleksandr Weisfeld was born on 10 January 1919 in the town of Sataniv. He studied violin in Kamianets-Podilskyi with Zdenek Kominek.
He graduated from the Kyiv Conservatory, where he studied with Professor David Bertier (a pupil of L. Auer) and Professor Yakov Shkaliner (a pupil of I. R. Nalbandian).
He lived in Lviv. He worked as an acting associate professor at the Mykola Lysenko Lviv State Conservatory. He taught at the Solomiya Krushelnytska Lviv Secondary Specialised Music Boarding School. For 30 years he led the violin ensemble created by Professor Pavlo Makarenko.
Among his students are the winner of the First Prize of the Nicolo Paganini International Violin Competition Yurii Korchynskyi, Honoured Artist of Ukraine Volodymyr Duda, Ihor Hrynkiv, Natalka Kostyk, Volodymyr Kotsiuruba, Honoured Artist of Ukraine Yurii Sokolovskyi, People's Artist of Ukraine Natalka Mandryka, Yurii Voytynskyi, Oleksandr Mazepa, Volodymyr Mykytka.
