Tyshchenko Mykhailo Petrovych

Mykhailo Petrovych Tyshchenko (born 27 July 1966, Dubiivka village, Cherkasy region) is a Ukrainian singer (tenor) and teacher, artist of the National Honoured Academic Choir of Ukraine "Dumka". People's Artist of Ukraine (2019).

Biography.
He was born into a poor Roma family with 9 children. The family was nomadic and came from Dubiivka, Cherkasy district, to the village of Helmyaziv, Zolotonosha district, Cherkasy region, where Mykhailo spent his childhood.
1987-1990 - studies at the Glier Music College in Kyiv (class of I. Palyvoda).

1990-1995 - studies at the Tchaikovsky Kyiv State Conservatory (class of D. Petrynenko).

1995-1998 - soloist of the H. Veriovka National Honoured Folk Choir.

Since 1999 - soloist-vocalist of the National Honoured Academic Choir "Dumka".

Professor of the Department of Academic and Variety Vocal and Sound Engineering at the National Academy of Culture and Arts Management.

Professor of the Department of Academic Singing at the Reinhold Glier Kyiv Municipal Academy of Music.

He is also known as a performer of gypsy songs and romances.

Participates in numerous concerts. He remembers his outstanding teachers Ivan Palyvoda and Diana Petrynenko with gratitude, performing at the evenings in their memory.
