Trokhimenko Yuriy Oksentiyovych

1976-2017

Yurii Oksentiiovych Trokhymenko (16 June 1976 - 2 December 2017) was a Ukrainian musician, singer, composer, arranger, founder and leader of the band YURAN, public figure, businessman.
Biography
Born in Kyiv to a family of ordinary workers. Since childhood, he had a talent for music and musical instruments.

He studied at secondary school No. 195 named after V. I. Kudryashov, graduating in 1993. In parallel to his primary school, he studied at the Children's Music School No. 20, majoring in piano. He played in the jazz orchestra "Planet" and the brass band "Signal" on the stage of the main Palace of Pioneers in Kyiv (Kyiv Palace of Children and Youth).

1992, 1993, 1994 - guest of the "Slavic Bazaar" from Ukraine, Vitebsk.

In 1993, he released his first album "I Gave You My Spring", which was recorded at his own recording studio.

October 1994 - participant of the first International Festival of Children's Creativity, TV Programmes and Press "Golden Autumn of Slavutych".

From 1992 to 1994, he performed as a solo artist, worked for the Kyivshchyna concert organisation and the Rock Academy production centre.

In 1994, he formed the band YURAN. The band consisted of: guitarist Yuriy Shapovalov. Oleksii Mazurenko, drummer Serhii Dobrianskyi, keyboardist Oleksii Sharovatov.

5-7 March 1995 - participant of the second international song festival "Romances of Slavutych", Slavutych.

5-7 June 1995 - participant of the IV International Festival "Slavic Bazaar".

September 1995 - participant of the Second International Festival of Children's Creativity, Television and Radio "GOLDEN AUTUMN OF SLAVUTYCH".

1996 - participant of "DANCE-SHOW", Vinnytsia.

11 September 1997 - opened the music studio "YULAIS".

Since 1999, the group "YURAN" has been changing its format and recording its first album "Let it be so", which was presented at ZAIR, Irpin.

1999 - 2016 - public figure.

2001-2004 - Owner of the advertising and production agency "UNIVEL".

2004-2014 - Owner of the recording studio "TOP DRIVE studio".

2014 - "JURAN MUZIK" was founded.

Since 2016 - a new stage in the creative activity of the "YURAN" group begins.

In 2017, he was involved in the social project for young people "Creative Start".

Diplomas and awards
1993 - Yuriy Trokhymenko won the second prize of the URA Novoyavorivsk festival.

13 January 1996 - YURAN group won the second prize of the All-Ukrainian TV Festival of Popular Music "Melodiya-95", Lviv.

2012 - Diploma of the IIX International TV and Radio Festival "Song Premiere" for creating the best song of 2011, State Television and Radio Company "World Service "UTR", Bucha.
