Trochenko (Trotchenko, Trochchenko) Dmytro Petrovych (29 November 1862 - 1933) was a Ukrainian kobzar.
He was born in Liutivka, Bohodukhiv district, Kharkiv province. He lost his sight in his youth.
He was one of Pavlo Hashchenko's teachers. According to Stepan Pasiuha, he was greatly influenced by his foreman Khvedir Vovk.
In 1911-1912, he performed together with Gaschenko and Petro Drevchenko. He played the bandura and lyre. He was highly praised by both kobzars and musicologists.
Dumas
He knew many dumas and old songs, but sang only four of them "for the people" (for the intelligentsia):
The Lament of the Slaves,
The Three Ozovsky Brothers (or The Escape of the Three Brothers from Azov),
A Widow and Three Sons,
A thought about Ivas Konovchenko.
