He was born in Yahotyn, Kyiv region.
He received his primary musical education at the L. Revutsky Kyiv Children's Music School No. 5 (class of R. Donska).
From 2003 to 2008, he studied at the Mykola Lysenko Kyiv Secondary Specialised Music School (class of Honoured Artist of Ukraine, Associate Professor Yurii Kot).
Since 2008, he has been a student of the Tchaikovsky Moscow State Conservatory (class of D.O. Petrova).
Konstantin Tovstukha has performed in Ukraine with the National Symphony Orchestra of Ukraine, the National Ensemble of Soloists "Kyiv Camerata", the Odesa Symphony Orchestra, the Kharkiv Youth Symphony Orchestra "Slobozhansky", the Symphony Orchestra of the Dnipro Philharmonic, the Chamber Orchestra of the Rivne Philharmonic.
The pianist has given recitals in Ukraine, Russia, the USA, Denmark, and Australia.
Kostyantyn Tovstukha is a laureate and diploma winner of many international and regional competitions, including:
1999 - International Competition for Young Pianists in Bucharest (Romania), II prize
2000 - Laureate of the International Competition for Young Pianists in Memory of V. Horowitz (Kyiv, first prize in the group "Horowitz-Debut")
2002 - International Competition for Young Pianists in Ettlingen (Germany), prize
2003 - International Competition in the homeland of Sviatoslav Richter (Zhytomyr), Grand Prix
2005 - International Competition Gradus ad Parnassum, Kragujevac (Serbia and Montenegro), First Prize.
2011 - VI International Piano Competition (Almaty, Kazakhstan), First Prize
