Stanislav Yosypovych Taborovsky (b. 1830, Volyn - d. 1890, St. Petersburg) was a Ukrainian and Russian violinist and composer.
He was born in 1830 in Volyn. He graduated from St Petersburg University. He studied music in Odesa and St. Petersburg. Graduated from the Brussels Conservatory.
He toured Belgium, France, Germany, and Poland. He was a soloist at the court of German Emperor Wilhelm I. From 1860 he was a military conductor in Zhytomyr. In 1863-1868, he was a member of the Kyiv branch of the Russian Musical Society. In 1875, he founded the Russian Musical Society and its music school in Kronstadt. From 1885 he lived in St. Petersburg. He died in St Petersburg in 1890.
His works include overtures for symphony orchestra, a concerto for violin, a quartet, and 6 rhapsodies for violin.
