Vladyslav Anatoliyovych Sytnik (stage name Vlad Sytnik, born 17 August 1990, Luhansk) is a Ukrainian singer (baritone), Golden Voice of Ukraine. Performer of crossover and pop music.
Winner of the international song contest "Slavic Bazaar - 2017" in Vitebsk, Belarus.
Ambassador of the Ukrainian Football Association.
Biography.
He started singing at the age of 6. At the age of 10, he sang at the report of the Luhansk region in Kyiv. Since then, he has been singing with the symphony orchestra.
He graduated from the Luhansk Institute of Culture and Arts with a degree in academic vocal performance and is a soloist at the Luhansk Regional Philharmonic. He also takes part in institute performances.
He has won more than 15 vocal competitions.
At the age of 14, he and four other gifted children visited Paris at the invitation of actor Gerard Depardieu.
In 2010, he took part in the Russian romance singing competition Romansiada, where he took third place and was awarded the personal prize of Nikolai Baskov.
In 2011, he took part in The Voice of the Country as part of Alexander Ponomarev's team. He reached the super final, where he came third in the audience vote.
On the Voice of the Country project, he sang a duet with Tamara Gverdtsiteli ("The Violin is Playing") and Oleksandr Ponomaryov ("I Will Be Your Angel").
During his participation in the project, he performed hits by Andrea Bocelli, Sarah Brightman, Bruno Peltier and Il Divo.
In 2017, he gave his first big solo concert "For You", which took place at the Zhovtnevyi Palace in Kyiv. He is also a Thai boxer, plays billiards and bowls.
Participation in The Voice project
During the "blind performance", Vlad performed one of Bruno Peltier's most famous songs from the French musical Notre Dame de Paris - "Le temps des cathedrales" and became one of the few participants to whom all four star coaches turned to, but the guy chose Alexander Ponomarev, whose work he had admired since childhood.
During the first "team" stage - the "musical battle" - he competed with Mykola Bobryk, a vocalist from Rivne region, for the right to get to the live broadcasts. The duo performed the hit song "Without You" in Spanish. By the decision of the star coach Alexander Ponomarev and his team, Vlad continued to compete in the project.
At the first live show, Vlad continued his tradition of performing famous foreign hits by singing "Time to say goodbye" from the repertoire of Andrea Bocelli and Sarah Brightman. The singer received favourable reviews from the celebrity coaches and became the leader of the audience vote in his team.
In the next live show, Vlad performed the song "Carefree Angel" by the rock band Aria and again received the approval of the coaches and became the leader of the audience vote in the team of Alexander Ponomarev.
In the fifth episode, Vlad performed one of the signature songs of Russian singer Alexey Glyzin, "Late Night in Sorrento", and became the absolute leader of the audience vote, breaking all previous records of the project.
In the quarter-finals of the project, he performed a classic of Soviet pop music - the song "Melody" from the repertoire of Muslim Magomayev, and also sang a duet with the star guest Tamara Gverdtsiteli - the song "The Violin is Playing", which is a Ukrainian classic. Once again, Vlad became the leader of the audience vote in his team.
In the semi-finals, the singer performed a romantic song by Ukrainian singer Pavlo Tabakov, "You Are Mine". Alexander Ponomarev gave 70% to Vlad Sytnik and 30% to Ekaterina Gracheva. The audience also favoured Vlad (50.78%).
In the final, Vlad performed Andrea Bocelli's hit song "Because we believe" and sang a song together with his star coach Alexander Ponomarev "I'll be your angel". In the audience vote, Vlad came third with 23.76% of the votes.
Victory at the "Slavic Bazaar 2017"
Vlad represented Ukraine at the international music festival Slavic Bazaar 2017 in Vitebsk, Belarus. He won the competition and took 1st place.
