Biography.
He graduated from the gymnasium in Ternopil.
He commanded the 4th Hundred in the Honta Cossack detachment, then the 10th UGA Brigade.
Later he served in the Volyn Division of the UPR Army.
He emigrated to the United States.
He was invited by Columbia Records to record kolomyikas, as he knew many of them and performed them well.
