Stetsun Mykola Hryhorovych

1942

Contemporary Ukrainian composer, musician and public figure, member of the National Union of Composers of Ukraine. Honored Artist of Ukraine.

Creative biography

In 1969 he graduated from the Faculty of Folk Instruments of the Kharkiv Institute of Arts, in 1973 - composition class of Professor I. Kovach.

1961-1964 - lecturer at the Slavic Pedagogical Institute;
1969-1972 - teacher at the Kharkiv Cultural and Educational College;
1972-1975 - director of the variety orchestra of the Kharkiv Palace of Builders,
1975-1979 - lecturer at the Kharkiv Institute of Arts and artistic director of the folk instruments ensemble at the Kharkiv Regional Philharmonic,
1979 - artistic director of the Kharkiv Regional Philharmonic,
2004 - Head of the Kharkiv Regional Organization of the National Union of Composers of Ukraine.

First prize of the vocal and choral competition (Kyiv, 1997).
I. Slatin Municipal Prize (2000).

Member of the National Union of Composers of Ukraine (1976).
Honored Artist of Ukraine (1996).
