Stetsenko Kyrylo Vadimovych

1953

Ukrainian violinist, composer, cultural critic, music and television producer, teacher and public figure. Honored Artist of Ukraine, People's Artist of Ukraine (2020), laureate of all-Ukrainian and all-Union violin competitions, Associate Professor, Head of the Department of Show Business at the Kyiv National University of Culture and Arts. He is a freelance advisor to the Minister of Culture of Ukraine.
Biography.

Son of composer and violinist Vadym Stetsenko. Grandson of the composer Kyrylo Stetsenko.

Member of the first lineup of the rock band "Aeneas".

He was a laureate of the All-Union competition, worked at the Rivne Philharmonic, and from the second half of the 1980s he was a television commentator. In the early 1990s, Kyrylo Stetsenko was in charge of the Dubno hard rock band Aeneas, a two-time Chervona Ruta diploma winner and founder of his own rock festival Taras Bulba. He has a bright and expressive violin sound, and plays the instrument without technical limitations. A characteristic feature of the violinist is moderation, thoughtfulness, emotionality and expressiveness of performance.

He is the author of the monograph "Strategy of Culture of Ukraine. Philosophy and Management of the Nation's Self-Realization". In 2013, he was elected chairman of the Kyiv City Association of the All-Ukrainian Society "Enlightenment named after Taras Shevchenko".
