Stasyshyn Irina

She graduated from the conducting faculty of the Mykola Lysenko Lviv National Music Academy in the class of Professor, People's Artist of Ukraine Ivan Yuziuk.

Since 2004, she has been conducting the Lviv National Academic Opera and Ballet Theatre named after S. Krushelnytska and heading the Chamber Orchestra of the theatre.

Conductor-director of such performances of the Lviv National Opera as "Love Drink" by G. Donizetti, "The Barber of Seville" by G. Rossini, "Natalka Poltavka" by M. Lysenko, musical fairy tale "Cinderella" by A. Spadavecchia. Spadavecchia, the chamber opera The Maidservant by G. B. Pergolesi, Stabat Mater by G. B. Pergolesi and O. Rodin, operettas The Merry Widow by F. Leger and The Key to the Stone by J. Offenbach.

The repertoire of the conductor also includes Orfeo and Eurydice by C. W. Gluck, Don Pasquale by G. Donizetti, La bohème by G. Puccini, Rigoletto, La Traviata, La bohème masquerade by G. Verdi, Cossack Beyond the Danube by S. Hulak-Artemovsky, Rural Honour by P. Mascagni, and a family opera by P. Golijov. Mascagni, opera for family viewing "Fox Nikita" by I. Nebesnyi, operettas "The Bat" and "The Gypsy Baron" by J. Strauss, ballets "Bayadereka", "Don Quixote" by L. Minkus and "The Nutcracker" by P. Tchaikovsky.

She has participated in various projects and concerts in Ukraine and abroad. She initiated concert programmes in the hometown of the famous Ukrainian opera singer Oleksandr Myshuga - in the village of Novyi Vytkiv, Lviv region.
