Stanko Oleksandr Oleksandrovych

1927-2014

Stanko Oleksandr Oleksandrovych (1927-2014) was a Ukrainian violinist, composer, teacher, and professor at the Odesa Conservatory.

He worked at the Odesa Conservatory for about 60 years at the orchestra faculty. Since 1987, he has been the head of the Department of Strings at the Odesa National Music Academy. Among his students are the winner of the International Tchaikovsky Competition G. Kneller, the winner of the International Competition in Italy Y. Revutskyi, the winners of the International Competition and the All-Ukrainian Mykola Lysenko Competition O. Sokolovska and O. Soboleva, People's Artist of Turkmenistan G. Neimark and others.

Laureate of the international competition. Professor, Candidate of Arts, Honoured Artist of Ukraine, member of the Union of Composers of Ukraine.
