Ukrainian actor, choir singer and conductor.
Biography.
He was born in the village of Zhyznomyr in Buchach region.
He made his debut in Petro Soroka's Lviv Bohemia Theater in 1936, and later worked at the Sadovsky Theater (directed by Panas Karabinevych).
In the Soviet years, he worked at the Ivan Franko Regional Theater in Berezhany.
In exile, he worked at the National Theater under the direction of Hanna Sovacheva in Salzburg, Austria.
In 1949, he moved to Edmonton, Canada, where he continued his work as an actor and conductor. He headed the drama club of the Ukrainian Youth Association there.
He visited his native land as a singer in the Dmytro Kotko Choir.
He was married to the famous actress Maria Slyuzarivna.
