Skoba Antin Yakovych (1853, Bahachka village - after 1908, ibid.) - Ukrainian blind miner. He became blind in childhood. He played in the Khorol and Myrhorod districts and in Lubny. Skoba's repertoire included historical, everyday and humorous songs, psalms, as well as two dumas - "Escape of Three Brothers from the City of Azov" and "About a Widow and Three Sons". His performance of dumas was marked by a particularly expressive recitative recitation and lyricism. Skoba's dumas were recorded by Filaret Kolesa and Opanas Slastion. Recitations recorded from the phonograph were included in volume 13 of the publication of the National Academy of Sciences "Materials for Ukrainian-Russian Ethnology" (MUE, 1910).
