Alla Sirenko, born in Ukraine, is an internationally renowned composer whose numerous works range from chamber music to film and theatre.

Alla Sirenko, pianist, composer, writer, studied in Cambridge, Lübeck and Moscow, and graduated from three conservatories: Kyiv as a pianist, Lviv as a composer, and Tallinn as an organist.
She made history as the first Ukrainian composer to premiere her fantasy opera The Golden Penguin at the Royal Opera House in London.
For ten years, she was a composer-in-residence at the Lviv Opera of Ukraine, where her productions became part of the main repertoire.
Alla has successfully composed film scores for EMI, Sony and Warner Brothers. The performance and composition of her Hail Mary was commissioned for the late Pope John Paul II and broadcast on television to several million people.
For the past six years, she has been Composer in Residence, producer and artistic director of the Ukrainian Cathedral Concert Hall in Mayfair, London. She regularly organised classical music concerts and various cultural events for the local and international community.
Recently, she founded the Ukrainian Cultural Association in the UK and secured exclusive membership of FIWAL.
She is also a full member of the United Society of Musicians of Great Britain; the Union of Composers of Ukraine; the Novello Academy; and the Honourable Company of Musicians of the City of London.
