Shvachka Anzhelina

Angelina Oleksiivna Shvachka (born July 17, 1971, Dnipropetrovsk, Ukrainian SSR) is a Ukrainian singer, soloist of the National Academic Opera and Ballet Theater of Ukraine named after Tarasa Shevchenko, People's Artist of Ukraine. Laureate of the National Award named after Taras Shevchenko.

Biography
She was born in Dnipropetrovsk. She spent her childhood in the village of Meliorativne, where she started studying at a music school at the age of five.

She graduated from the Dniprodzerzhinsk Music School (Kamyanske) majoring in choral conducting.

From 1990 to 1997, she studied as a singer at the Pyotr Tchaikovsky Kyiv State Conservatory in the class of professor, People's Artist of the USSR Galina Tuftina.

Since 1997, she has been a soloist of the National Opera of Ukraine.

In 2006, she performed the role of Catherine II in the feature film "Zaporozhets by the Danube" (based on the opera of the same name by S. Gulak-Artemovsky, directed by Mykola Zaseev-Rudenko, 2006).

Works as a singing teacher at the National Music Academy of Ukraine.

From July 28, 2023, he is a member of the Taras Shevchenko National Award Committee of Ukraine.

Has two children. Oleksandr is learning to play the guitar, Hanusia is starting her school education.
