Volodymyr Shandrovsky (b. 15 (28) October 1901, Tulchyn - d. 16 August 1985, Odesa) was a Ukrainian conductor and teacher (professor at the Odesa Conservatory), a student of Mykola Leontovych, brother of Hlib Shandrovsky.
He was born on 28 October 1901 in Tulchyn.
Together with his older brother Hlib, he sang in Mykola Leontovych's choir. He was a student of M. D. Leontovych.
From 1921, he was the head of the Commission for the commemoration of the composer Leontovych in Tulchyn. Volodymyr Danylovych considered the primary task of the Committee to be the resumption of the activities of the choir founded by the outstanding composer. Together with other members of the Committee, he managed to quickly resume the activities of the chapel, which performed at a concert in memory of the composer in February 1921 with the premiere of the song "Death".
On 19 September 1921, the Tulchyn branch of the Committee was inaugurated.
In 1925, he graduated from the Mykola Lysenko State Music and Drama Institute (Kyiv).
He worked as a conductor of opera theatres in Odesa, Kharkiv, and Lviv.
Since 1947, he was a lecturer at the Odesa Conservatory (since 1963 - Professor).
He died on 16 August 1985 in Odesa.
