Shaida Viktor Vasilyevich

Viktor Shayda (born 28 December 1974 in Stara Synyava, Khmelnytskyi region) is a Ukrainian singer and public figure, soloist of the Khmelnytskyi Regional Philharmonic, winner of the international competition Slavic Bazaar.
Biography.
He studied at Starosyniavske Secondary School No. 2.

Since childhood, he has loved music, singing and playing the trumpet. In 1994, he graduated from the Kamianets-Podilskyi School of Culture with a degree in brass band management.

In 1996, he settled in Khmelnytskyi, where he began his career as a singer, performing at various concert venues. At the same time, he began to participate in various festivals and vocal competitions.

Since 2000, he has been a soloist of the pop orchestra of the Department of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Ukraine in Khmelnytskyi region (currently the orchestra of the Main Department of the National Police in Khmelnytskyi region). Together with the orchestra, he has given concerts in many European countries. In 2016, he became the head of the band.

Since 2012, he has also been a soloist of the Khmelnytskyi Regional Philharmonic.

Participant of the television projects "Karaoke on the Maidan" and "Chance" (1+1 TV channel, Ukraine).

In 2010, he organised a charity concert with the participation of Ukrainian showbiz stars to raise funds for the purchase of laparoscopic instruments for the Minimally Invasive Surgery Department of the Khmelnytsky City Children's Hospital.

Since April 2014, he has been a co-organiser of the Artistic Podilska Sotnia, a creative volunteer association aimed at providing moral and financial support to individual units of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, the National Guard and volunteer groups participating in the ATO.

Family and friends
His parents, Vasyl Pylypovych and Nadiia Ivanivna, are farmers, and Viktor is the eldest son. In addition to him, his parents gave birth to and raised two more girls - Tetiana and Nataliia.

He is married. His wife Olha is an economist by profession and works in the social sector. Together with his wife, Viktor has two sons, Serhii and Heorhii, who study at Khmelnytskyi Gymnasium No. 1 and are also involved in sports. The family lives in Khmelnytskyi.
