Mykola Mykolaiovych Sereda (* 4 (16) May 1890-1948), opera singer, lyric tenor, born in the village of Stari Sanzhary in Poltava region.

From his biography.
Graduated from the Moscow Conservatory. Conservatoire; soloist of the Kharkiv (1926-1933), Sverdlovsk (1933-1935) and Leningrad (1935-1948) operas. Main roles: Andrei (Taras Bulba by M. Lysenko), Levko (May Night by Rimsky-Korsakov), Lensky (Eugene Onegin by Tchaikovsky), Alfred (La Traviata by Verdi), Lohengrin (Wagner's opera of the same name), etc.

People's Artist of the RSFSR.
