Czech-born church composer, conductor, and teacher. From 1854 he was a choir conductor at the Greek Catholic Cathedral in Przemyśl (now the Republic of Poland) and a singing teacher at local schools, including a violin teacher of the Ukrainian composer Anatol Vakhnyanyn (*1841-†1908) in 1852-1859. Among his students was also the Ukrainian choral conductor Osyp Vitoshynskyi (*1838-†1901). He was the author of the Liturgy and songs, including "Hallelujah," "Grace of the World," and "Feasts." He died in Przemysl.
