Sayenko Danylo

1991

He was born in 1991 in Lviv. He started playing the piano at the age of six. He graduated from the Lviv Specialised Music Boarding School named after Solomiya Krushelnytska, class of Yuriy Moysyak. In 2009, Danylo Saienko began his studies at the Mykola Lysenko Lviv National Music Academy, piano class of Professor Jozsef Ermin, and in June 2013 he received his bachelor's degree. From 2014 to 2016 he studied at the Hamburg University of Music and Theatre with Professor Anna Vinnytska.

He won awards at the International Piano Competition in memory of Volodymyr Horovets in Kyiv (2012), the Emil Hillels International Piano Competition in Odesa (2012), and the Mykola Lysenko International Competition in Kyiv (2012). At the 2011 Piano Forum Festival (Poland), he received the Złoty Parnas Award. He was a finalist at the Valsesa Muska Piano Competition in Varallo 2013 (Italy) and the S. Stancic Piano Competition 2014 (Croatia). He won the Maria Canals International Piano Competition 2015 (Spain) and the GIORGOS Thymis Competition (Greece).
