Savustyanenko Vyacheslav Mykhailovych

Choirmaster and musician, director of amateur choirs, Honored Worker of Culture of Ukraine.
Biography

In 1962, he graduated from the Oleksandriia Cultural and Educational College.

He worked as an accordion teacher at the Oleksandrivka Children's Music School and as an accompanist at the district House of Culture. During 1967-2001 (with a break in 1979-1984), he worked as the director of the folk amateur choir "Tiasmin", headed by Vitalii Bidnenko. Since 1968, the choir has constantly participated in district, regional, and all-Ukrainian competitions and song festivals, where it has won. The choir also performed in Belarus and the Baltics, and in 1985, in the Latvian SSR, the choir represented the Ukrainian SSR at the Republican Song Festival.

In 2001, Savustianenko retired, but in 2003 he founded a choir of war and labor veterans at the village council. In 2009, the Veteran Choir was awarded the honorary title of "People's Amateur Choir".

He is the author of several arrangements of Ukrainian folk songs, which in 1998 were included in the printed repertoire collection "Singing Tiasmyne".
