Rozhka Mikhail Vasilyevich

Rozhko Mykhailo Vasylovych (born 19 October 1956 in the village of Lomachyntsi, Sokyryany district, Chernivtsi region) is a Ukrainian composer. He is a teacher. Honourable Worker of Education of Ukraine. Member of the Association of Songwriters of the National All-Ukrainian Music Union.
Mykhailo Rozhko was born on 19 October 1956 in the village of Lomachyntsi, Sokyryany district, Chernivtsi region (Ukraine). He graduated from Lomachyntsi Secondary School, Sokyryany Children's Music School, accordion class, and the Music Faculty of Vinnytsia Pedagogical Institute. After graduation, he worked in educational and cultural institutions: a teacher of the highest category at the Novodnistrovska Music School, a head of the children's art centre.

Creative achievements
Pupils of the music teacher M. Rozhko, brothers Denys and Bohdan Panchenko became students of the Odesa Conservatory, Oksana Bryndak, Stanislav Bodrov, Nadiya Zubal, Olya Popova, Khrystyna Holinok and others became laureates and diploma winners of district, regional, and regional competitions and festivals. Oleksandr Bytsiuk, a former student and accordion graduate, is a postgraduate student at the Kyiv Academy of Management of Ukraine and a lecturer at Vinnytsia Pedagogical University.

As a musician and composer, Mykhailo Rozhko, together with his fellow teachers and students, has repeatedly participated in various cultural events in the cities of Ukraine, Moldova, and Romania.

He is the author of the collections of songs "Blossoms of Music and Words", "The Gift of an Invisible Bird" (a collection based on the poems of Inna Bahriychuk), which were published in Chernivtsi in 2006 by the Technodruk Publishing House. The composer's songs "Home" based on the words of Vasyl Vaskan, "Dniester Region" by Tamara Lavruk, "Bukovynochka" based on his own poems became popular... He is the author of 8 songs based on the words of Tamara Moroshan (Lavruk), who included them in a separate section "Dniester Region" in her collection "I Came to Love This World", which was published in Lisbon, where she is currently working.
