Polish and Ukrainian conductor, composer, organizer of musical events.

Education.

He graduated from the Chopin Academy of Music in Warsaw with a degree in music theory, then from the conducting faculty in the class of B. Madej, where he studied composition.
Creative work.

In 1983-1993, he directed the men's choir Zhuravly, with which he toured the United States, Canada, Western Europe, and Ukraine. He was also engaged in Byzantine chorales, which were performed by the chamber choir "Irmos", which he created.

Since the 1990s, he has been engaged in symphony conducting. He has performed with symphony and chamber orchestras in Poland, Ukraine, Belarus, and Russia.

He is particularly interested in contemporary music. Together with the National Ensemble of Soloists "Kyiv Camerata", the Polish Sinfonia Iuventus Orchestra, the National Symphony Orchestra of Ukraine and the National Choir "Dumka", he was the first conductor to perform works by I. Shcherbakov, Y. Lanyuk, E. Selicki, V. Lutosławski, K. Penderecki, Z. Krause, A. Nikodemowicz, A. Pärt, B. Frolyak, B. Sehin, M. Shved, O. Shymko and many others.
Organizer of musical events

He is the founder and chairman of the Pro Musica Viva Foundation, which promotes and supports various musical initiatives. As a conductor and organizer of music festivals and other events, he promotes Ukrainian music in Poland and Polish music in Ukraine. Four times he organized the Days of Ukrainian Music in Warsaw in the most prestigious concert halls of the Polish capital.

In 2015, together with the National Chamber Ensemble "Kyiv Soloists", he presented a program of Ukrainian contemporary music in Poland.

Under his baton, Oleksandr Shchetynsky's Requiem was recorded and released on CD by NAXOS.

He is a member of the V. Lutoslavsky Society and the National Union of Composers of Ukraine.
