Radik Dmytro Vasyliovych

1955

Ukrainian choral conductor, professor, Honored Artist of Ukraine.

His first public performance took place in 1969 in his native village. In 1970-74, he studied at the Chernivtsi Pedagogical College at the pedagogical department. He served in the Soviet Army, was a soloist in a regiment, and after the army worked as a school singing teacher.

He graduated from the Kyiv Conservatory. He worked as a choirmaster in the Ukrainian Folk Choir named after H. Veriovka, in the Choir of Boys and Young Men "Dzvinochok", in 1992-2004 he directed the academic choir of students of the Kyiv National University of Culture and Arts, in 1998-2004 he headed the Department of Choral Conducting of the Kyiv National University of Culture and Arts:

Bydgoszcz, Poland - (1995 Grand Prix);
in Lutsk, Lesya Ukrainka Competition - (1996 Grand Prix);
in Kyiv, All-Ukrainian Competition named after M. Leontovych - (1998, 2nd prize);

Since 2005 - Professor of the Tchaikovsky National Music Academy of Kyiv, Dean of the Vocal and Conducting Faculties.

President of the Association of Music Education and Training Workers (Kyiv, Ukraine).
