Pochko Vladyslav Leonidovych

1962-2009

Ukrainian violinist, singer, soloist of the folklore ensemble of the National Philharmonic of Ukraine "Veseli Muzyky" (Merry Musicians) in 1983-2009. Honored Artist of Ukraine (2000).

Biography.

Graduated from the R. M. Glier Kyiv Music College (1982), the Faculty of Music and Pedagogy of the Drahomanov National Pedagogical University of Kyiv (1990).

Since 1985, he has worked in the folklore ensemble "Veseli Muzyky" of the Kyiv Association of Music Ensembles (violin, singing). In 1988, he joined the National Philharmonic of Ukraine as a member of the ensemble.

He toured England, Austria, Belgium, Bulgaria, Holland, the USA, France, Scotland, the Czech Republic, Slovakia, Poland, Finland, Israel, Greece, and Germany.

In 1995, as part of the ensemble, he performed at one of the most prestigious stages in Europe - the Munich Philharmonic.

He was buried at the Pushcha-Vodytsia cemetery.
Honors.

Winner of the All-Ukrainian Competition in Vinnytsia (1987, first prize).
Honored Artist of Ukraine (2000)
International Golden Orpheus Award (2002).
