A talented eight-year-old violinist, she is a pupil of Professor Bohdana Pivnenko and a winner of many international competitions in Ukraine and Europe.
She started playing at the age of six and passed the entrance exams to the Mykola Lysenko Kyiv Secondary Specialised Music Boarding School with flying colours. Just 6 months after starting her studies, Margarita took to the big stage and played with a symphony orchestra for the first time. The same year she took part in the first competition in her life - the Misha Elman International Violin Competition. She won the Grand Prix.
Margarita was applauded in the concert halls of Italy, Slovakia, Ukraine, Croatia, and the Czech Republic. Today, the musician has already performed more than 20 times with the orchestra, each time with a new challenging programme. The speed and quality of Margarita's preparation for concerts, festivals, competitions and masterclasses is truly impressive.
She has taken masterclasses with such renowned contemporary violinists as Ihor Benderskyi, Vadym Brodskyi, Zakhar Bron, Oleksandr Brusilovskyi, Borys Harlytskyi, and Oleh Krysa. In 2019, she received a personal invitation to the Summer Music Camp from Maestro Shlomo Mintz.
Marharyta performs chamber music and a number of virtuoso concert pieces in a duet with her older sister Yelyzaveta.
