Pikulsky Mykhailo Svyatoslavovych

1963

Ukrainian choral and symphony conductor.

Biography.

Graduated from the Tchaikovsky Kyiv State Conservatory (1989, Faculty of Choral Conducting, class of Professor H. Tkachenko); 1994, Faculty of Opera and Symphony Conducting, class of Professor R. Kofman).

2000-2002 - conductor of the Kyiv Academic Operetta Theater.

2002-2004 - Chief Conductor of the Irkutsk Musical Theater, where he directed opera productions.

2004-2005 - Chief Conductor of the Ivanovo Musical Theater (Ivanovo, Russia), where he staged the opera.

Since 2010, he has been the Chief Conductor of the Symphony Orchestra of the R. M. Glier Kyiv Institute of Music, while also working as the conductor of the Academic Orchestra of Folk and Popular Music of the National Music Academy of Ukraine (2005).

He taught conducting and professional disciplines at the Kyiv State Institute of Culture (1989-2000). He was a choirmaster of the academic choir of students (stationary).

Since 2013, he has been the artistic director and chief conductor of the Academic Orchestra of Folk and Popular Music of the Ukrainian Radio.

G. Donizetti, the opera The Bell,
I. Kalman, operetta "Mr. X",
Tchaikovsky, ballet The Nutcracker (2004);
К. Molchanov, "The Stars Are Quiet Here",
Ц. Pouni, ballet Esmeralda (2005);
I. Taranenko, melodic declaration for reader, choir, orchestra and electronic recording "Ivan Vyshensky" (2007).
