Piddubnyi Tymofii

1880-??

Tymofii Piddubnyi (circa 1880, Poltava province -?) was a Ukrainian opera singer, tenor, and dramatic artist. He performed in the Ukrainian musical and dramatic troupes of M. Sadovsky, P. Saksahansky and I. Karpenko-Kary (1904-1905), L. Sabinin (1908-1909) and others.

He was noted for his beautiful voice, skilfully performing Ukrainian folk songs. He recorded on gramophone records (1909, 1912, 1913, Pathé Records and Zonophon). Among his recordings are Mykola Lysenko's romances and Ukrainian folk songs.
