Petrychenko Evgeny Volodymyrovych

1976

Ukrainian composer, member of the National Union of Composers of Ukraine.

Biography.

He was born in the village of Dubivsky, Antratsyt City Council, Luhansk region, on December 10, 1976.

From 1984 to 1992 he studied at the secondary school № 5 in Antratsyt, Luhansk region. Antratsyt, Luhansk region and at the children's music school. During his studies, he was repeatedly awarded the title of diploma winner and laureate of city, regional and all-Ukrainian competitions.

From 1992 to 1996, he studied at the Theory Department of the Luhansk Higher Music School. 1996-2001 - student of the Department of Composition and Modern Musical Technologies at the Prokofiev Donetsk State Conservatory (class of Professor, Honored Artist of Ukraine S. Mamonov).

From 2000 to 2001 he studied for a master's degree. He graduated with honors from the Conservatory and the Master's program, and received the qualifications of a composer, Master of Art History, and teacher.

In the same year, he was admitted to the National Union of Composers of Ukraine.

Since 2003, he has been an assistant trainee at the Department of Composition and Modern Music Technologies of the Prokofiev State Music Academy, and since 2004, he has been a candidate for the degree of Candidate of Arts at the Department of Composition and Instrumentation of the Tchaikovsky National Music Academy of Ukraine.

2000 - diploma winner of the International Competition "In Prokofiev's Homeland" (Mariupol).

2005 - Laureate of the L. Revutsky Prize.

2007 - author and implementer of the project "Donetsk - Lviv". The project was recognized by the National Union of Composers of Ukraine as the best project of the year.

2009 - author and implementer of the project "Art of the Young - the Future of Donbas" (grant of the Donetsk Regional Council in the field of musical art), within the framework of which a CD with works by young composers of Donbas performed by the chamber ensemble of new music "Quarta +" and the ensemble "Art Music Chamber Band" was released.

In 2014, he was forced to leave Donetsk due to the capture of the city by DPR militants and settled in Vorzel. Since 2015, he has been the director of the House of Composers' Creativity "Vorzel".

Yevhen Petrychenko is a laureate of the Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine.
Biography.

The composer has a considerable creative baggage represented by various genres of symphonic, chamber-symphonic, chamber-instrumental, vocal, choral music, music for theatrical performances, songs, etc.

His works have been performed at the Kyiv, Luhansk, Donetsk, Lviv, Ivano-Frankivsk, and Odesa Regional Philharmonic, at the international music festivals named after A. Kos-Anatolsky, KyivMusicFest, Golden-Domed Kyiv, Two Days and Two Nights of New Music, and Contrasts.

The composer has two author's CDs ("in D...", "Requiem"), a number of scientific publications and performances at national and international conferences. He holds the position of Senior Lecturer at the Department of Composition and Modern Music Technologies and Music Theory of the Prokofiev Donetsk State Music Academy.
